Mmmmmm, just what a good vegan gravy should taste like.
2C Water
2 ½ T Tamari
1 tsp thyme
1 tsp savory
Salt and pepper to taste
2 T cornstarch dissolved in 3 T water
¼ C Soy milk
In a small sauce pan combine the stock, tamari, thyme, savory, salt and pepper.
Bring to boil over high heat.
Reduce the heat to low. Whisk in the cornstarch mixture and bring to boil until sauce thickens (about 1 minute).
Slowly whisk in the milk (do not allow to boil).
Taste to adjust the seasonings. Serve Hot. |
